OUR COMMITMENT TO THE OCEAN At Meduza Beachwear, the beach is our home, and the ocean is our biggest inspiration. We believe that creating beautiful swimwear shouldn't come at the expense of our planet. That is why we have stepped away from the traditional "fast fashion" model to build a brand focused on mindful, sustainable practices.
THE MADE-TO-ORDER REVOLUTION Did you know that traditional fashion brands overproduce millions of garments each year that eventually end up in landfills? We do things differently. Meduza operates entirely on a Made-to-Order (On-Demand) production model. This means we don’t have huge warehouses filled with unsold inventory. Every single bikini is printed, cut, and sewn only after you place your order. By creating pieces exclusively for you, we eliminate overproduction and drastically reduce textile waste.
RECYCLED & PREMIUM MATERIALS We are proud to incorporate Recycled Polyester into our swimwear collections. By using recycled materials (often repurposed from plastic bottles that would otherwise pollute our oceans), we help reduce the demand for petroleum-based virgin plastics and lower our overall carbon footprint. Not only is this fabric better for the earth, but it is also incredibly soft, durable, and provides UPF 50+ sun protection.
ECO-FRIENDLY PRINTING & INKS Our vibrant, eye-catching patterns are printed using state-of-the-art sublimation technology. We use high-quality, water-based, vegan inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, meaning they are free from harmful chemicals and completely safe for your skin. Plus, our printing process uses almost zero water, preventing harmful wastewater runoff.
SMART GLOBAL FULFILLMENT To reduce the carbon emissions associated with shipping, we partner with a global network of premium fulfillment centers. Whether you are in the US, Europe, or Australia, our intelligent routing system ensures that your swimwear is crafted and shipped from the facility closest to your doorstep. Shorter shipping distances mean a smaller carbon footprint!
